Information Sharing with Residents of New Salem

We would like to invite town residents to review the survey results and participate in a group
discussion on September 8 at 6:00pm in the town hall basement. We hope to have a healthy
discussion of what town residents would like to see for the future of our police department.

The Police Future Committee would like to thank the residents of New Salem who participated
in the police department survey earlier in the summer. Our committee has reviewed the
findings and would like members of the community to come join us for further discussion.
As a reminder, the committee was formed to evaluate options for the town police department,
seek resident input and to make recommendations back to the selectboard with the findings.
This committee is a fact finder only, we make no determinations regarding the future of the
police department.
