Wendell Community Solar Co-Op

The Wendell Energy Committee is building a cooperatively owned solar array, and New Salem residents are invited to join the cooperative. If you pay your own utility bill, you can be a member, whether you are a homeowner or a renter. As a solar co-op member, you will receive the same benefits as other solar owners, including a 30 percent federal tax credit, a state tax credit, solar renewable energy credits, and net metering credits.
