Annual Town Meeting

Annual Town Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Town Hall on Tuesday, June 6. Among the agenda items will be paying the town’s bills, funding the schools, setting limits for town expenses, and selling surplus equipment. The proposed annual appropriations total $3,348,782. There is also a proposal for a property tax limit exclusion to buy a $616,000 primary response pumper truck for the Fire Department, with part of the money coming from an existing vehicle account and the rest borrowed.
